Be a part of unGala 2019 by planning and hosting a Friendraiser to benefit Girls Inc. The top fundraising "team" will have unGala bragging rights on our social media for the next year and be deemed the gold medal winner!
Maybe you love hosting parties at home, or you’re a whiz with online chatting. Maybe you’ve got a team of great colleagues who love creative gatherings after work, or you and your neighbors love planning neighborhood events. Whatever your lifestyle, you can plan a Friendraiser for Girls Inc. to raise money on our behalf.
Put together a Friendraiser in a few easy steps!
Step 1 - Download our Friendraiser Toolkit and let us know you're starting a Friendraiser! Email or call Tina at tgleason@gcr.girls-inc.org or 518-374-9800.
Step 2 - Plan your event and collect cash and checks (made out to Girls Incorporated of the Greater Capital Region) from your donors. Make sure to get all donations to Girls Inc. at 962 Albany Street in Schenectady by December 6, 2019.
Step 3 (optional) - Use our new online fundraising tool at girls-inc-ungala-2019.causevox.com to create a "team" and raise funds through social media or email. The tool even allows us to record your "offline" donations - the cash and checks you've collected in your hand that you'll turn in later to Girls Inc. Step 4 - Send us your pics! Whether your Friendraiser is taking place on Giving Tuesday, December 3 or before that, we want to see your pictures. Find us on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn and use the hashtag #GIGCRunGala2019!
