The mentoring programs Girls Inc. provides year round are the fuel lighting the inner fire of every girl to reach for her dreams and pursue meaningful, bright, and successful futures.
The Fuel Her Fire Awards Celebration provides an opportunity each year to honor individuals at different stages of their lives to show that growth and success are timeless pursuits. The Fuel Her Fire Award recognizes trailblazers who are inspirational leaders in their field or community, and are role models for others. The Emerging Leader Award spotlights individuals under the age of 35 or who have been with their employers for less than 10 years, who are rising stars in the Capital Region and blazing a trail of their own in personal or professional advancement. The Girls of the Year are local members of Girls Inc. whose lives have been impacted by our programs and who represent future generations of accomplished women. The honorees chosen for this event exemplify the mission of Girls Inc. and are powerful voices in shaping the strong, smart, and bold women of tomorrow.
