The mentoring programs Girls Inc. provides year round are the fuel lighting the inner fire of every girl to reach for her dreams and pursue meaningful, bright, and successful futures.
The Fuel Her Fire Awards Celebration provides an opportunity each year to honor women and girls at different stages of their lives to show that growth and success are timeless pursuits. The Fuel Her Fire Award recognizes trailblazers who are inspirational leaders in their field or community, and are role models for others. The Emerging Leader Award spotlights individuals under the age of 35 or who have been with their employers for less than 10 years, who are rising stars in the Capital Region and blazing a trail of their own in personal or professional advancement. The Girls of the Year are local members of Girls Inc. whose lives have been impacted by our programs and who represent future generations of accomplished women. The honorees chosen for this event exemplify the mission of Girls Inc. and are powerful voices in shaping the strong, smart, and bold women of tomorrow.
Enjoy an evening of inspiration and networking at the 4th Annual Fuel Her Fire Awards Celebration on September 26, 2018 at Wolfert’s Roost Country Club. We begin the celebration with a VIP Reception from 5-6pm for our honorary committee members and sponsors to get to know our honorees in a more intimate setting. Our main event takes place from 6-8 p.m. with small plate fare, beverages, socializing, business networking, our awards presentation and inspiring speeches and thoughts from our honorees and honorary chair.
